Avril Lavigne loves shopping in Tokyo as style there is "so crazy and out there". The Canadian songstress is famed for her punky aesthetic, which she incorporates into her clothing line Abbey Dawn. Avril likes taking inspiration from across the globe when she's designing and Japan's capital provides a wealth of ideas.

"Tokyo [is the best place to shop.] The style is so crazy and out there," she revealed in an interview with WWD. Avril likes to incorporate her own influences into her Abbey Dawn range. The label's second shoe collection will launch this fall, with animal prints being a major design staple.

The 27-year-old beauty has explained the reason why she delved into footwear design. "My personal style is very Abbey Dawn. It's rock 'n' roll, but still cute," she explained. "That's why I wanted to start my own line. I could never find [footwear] that was a combination."

Despite being a fully-fledged fashionista these days, Avril hasn't lost her punky roots. The singer prefers to dress down on her days off. "A hooded sweatshirt," she replied, when asked what she never leaves home without.

Avril has recently branched out in the fashion and beauty world and has signed a deal to create a limited edition collection for Sally Hansen. It includes 12 designs of nail polish strips which are inspired by Avril's signature quirky style. The star is thrilled to work with the beauty giant. "This is pretty much the coolest thing, because I also do clothing - I love clothing, nails and fragrance, hair, make-up, all that stuff," she previously explained.

Fall also marks the second season for the label's shoes, which this time are heavy on the animal prints and hardware. "My personal style is very Abbey Dawn. It's rock 'n' roll, but still cute," said Lavigne. "That's why I wanted to start my own line. I could never find [footwear] that was a combination." The 27-year-old also is honing her design skills in the beauty arena: She recently released 12 styles of Sally Hansen Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips featuring her drawings. And music is never far away, of course. Lavigne will tour southeast Asia and Japan this month and is in and out of the studio working on her next record. Avril Lavigne and Brody Jenner's romance may still be going on as the two were recently spotted together at dinner in Los Angeles on January 30. Lavigne and Jenner allegedly broke up last month according to several reports, however, the two sent out Tweets in mid-January about how much they care for each other.

"It really upsets me to read all the FALSE!! Stories," Jenner Tweeted on January 18. "Avril has always been there for me and is the closest person to my heart. I love her." Lavigne re-Tweeted the message to her followers.

Lavigne also responded to Jenner's message, "luv u 2!!! @BrodyJenner," the same night. The two have kept quiet about their relationship since then but Us Weekly quoted an unnamed source on January 31 as saying that Lavigne and Jenner are "not back together." The magazine also has photos of the two together leaving the previously mentioned dinner on January 30.

Lavigne is set to embark on a several tour dates in Japan, China and the Philippines starting on February 4. The tour will end on February 18. Jenner, 28, is best known for his appearances on "The Hills," as well as his string of romances with co-stars Lauren Conrad and Kristin Cavallari. Jenner was also linked to Nicole Richie in August 2006.

Lavigne was previously involved with Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley. The pair married in July 2006 in California, and have no children together. Lavigne filed for divorce in October 2009, citing irreconcilable differences.

Lavigne is best known for hits such as "Complicated" and "Sk8er Boi," but more recently debuted her fashion line, Abbey Dawn. She had a New York Week Fashion Week event in September 2011 where she debuted her Spring/Summer 2012 collection, and featured Kylie Jenner, Brody's half-sister, as a model.

It's been a little over two weeks since speculation of a split began to swirl, however a very together-looking Brody Jenner and Avril Lavigne were spotted out at Koi restaurant in Los Angeles, California. Both dressed in a dark-colored ensembles, the "Complicated" singer and her on/off reality star beau seemingly squashed any claims of a breakup as they arrived to the swanky City of Angels eatery.

The dinner date follows a slew of unconfirmed reports that Avril and Brody parted ways, citing Jenner's refusal to walk down the aisle. Becoming quite frustrated with the pesky rumors, Brody tweeted, "It really upsets me to read all the FALSE!! stories. Avril has always been there for me and is the closest person to my heart. I love her.” Lavigne later replied to the loving post, writing, “Luv u 2!!!"

Avril Lavigne and Brody Jenner have continued to quash split rumours with a show of unity and a what appears to be a genuine smile on her face. Last night, the couple enjoyed a dinner date together before the Complicated singer flew out to Japan for concert tour dates.

In preparation of her Saturday show at the Saitama Super Arena, the duo opted for celebrity haunt Koi, which serves traditional Japanese cuisine. The 27-year-old jetted off yesterday, tweeting to her four million followers: 'Japan here I come...... Long flight but always worth it !!!!'

Once she has completed her world tour, which began in April 2011 in Beijing and ends next month Kuala Lumpur, Avril may move in with Brody. The blonde beauty, currently sporting blue streaks in her hair, has just sold her palatial Bel-Air mansion for $8.5m to basketball player Chris Paul.

In 2007, she purchased the lavish home with ex-husband and Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley, for a cool $9.5m. Earlier this month, Avril and Brody were forced to defend their relationship after Life and Style magazine claimed they ended their two year romance.

Brody, 28, took to his Twitter page to say he was 'upset' at the stories. He wrote: 'It really upsets me to read all the FALSE!! stories. Avril has always been there for me and is the closest person to my heart. I love her.'

The pop/rock princess loyally added: 'Luv u 2!!! @BrodyJenner.' Rumours circulated after they allegedly had opposing views on marriage. It is believed Avril wants to settle down again, while Brody, whose stepsister Kim Kardashian recently ended her 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries, supposedly doesn't want to become a husband.

L.A. Clipper Chris Paul may be quick down the court, but he moves pretty fast when it comes to buying multimillion-dollar real estate too. The All-Star bought and closed on the Bel-Air home of singer-songwriter Avril Lavigne for $8.495 million just a month after coming to Los Angeles.

The Mediterranean-style house, sitting on more than half an acre in a gated community, came on the market in May at $9.5 million and had been reduced to $8,999,999.

The 12,184-square-foot home, built in 2003, features Venetian plaster, wood-framed doors and windows, a two-story foyer, a wine cellar and tasting room, a gym, eight bedrooms and 101/2 bathrooms. A long eat-at counter off the open-plan kitchen can accommodate a starting lineup. The grounds include an expansive lawn, a swimming pool with spa, an outdoor covered living room and built-in barbecue/kitchen. There is garage parking for 10 cars.

After a trade to the Lakers was killed by the NBA twice in early December, the 26-year-old point guard was signed by the Clippers. The former New Orleans Hornet will earn $16.3 million his first season with the Clippers and $17.7 million the next when he picks up his option. He was the NBA rookie of the year in 2006 and an NBA all-star for four consecutive years since 2008.

Lavigne, 27, released her latest studio album, "Goodbye Lullaby," last year and is working on her fifth album. Her four-time platinum debut album, "Let Go," was released in 2002. She and her then-husband, Sum 41 singer-guitarist Deryck Whibley, bought the house in 2007 for $9.5 million.

Paul took getting to Staples Center and the team's Playa Vista practice facility into consideration in making the purchase, according to his sales agent, Ikem Chukumerije of SportsRelocation.com.

"Privacy and security were the top things on their wish list," he said. Jade Mills and Zach Quittman of Coldwell Banker, Beverly Hills South, were the listing agents.

Prolific film and television producer Brian Grazer has bought an estate in Santa Monica. The 10,000-plus-square-foot Spanish-style house, built in 1990, has six bedrooms and nine bathrooms, according to the Los Angeles County Office of the Assessor. Title documents show that the house was sold in December.

The property was not listed on the Multiple Listing Service and the sale price has yet to appear on public records, but area real estate agents estimated the price at $16 million. The lot of less than 2 acres also has a swimming pool.

Grazer put his 6,000-square-foot Malibu beach house up for sale in May at $19.5 million, but the listing was withdrawn at the end of the year. Withdrawals of high-profile homes sometimes indicate a deal has been struck and the seller intends to close without the sale being reported on the MLS. It can take weeks or even months for sale prices to appear in public records. The three-story Mediterranean-style home with a swimming pool features a gym, five bedrooms and eight bathrooms.

Grazer, 60, co-founded Imagine Entertainment with Ron Howard. He will produce the 84th Annual Academy Awards next month. Last year he produced five films, including "J. Edgar" and "Tower Heist," as well as episodes of "Friday Night Lights" and "Lie to Me."The Oscar-winning producer was unavailable for comment, his publicist said.

Punk rocker Avril Lavigne already has a clothing line, Abbey Dawn, under her belt. But the 27-year-old singer is hoping to make your nail routine not so complicated with the launch of her limited-edition Sally Hansen Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips Collection.

“This is pretty much the coolest thing, because I also do clothing — I love clothing, nails and fragrance, hair, makeup, all that stuff,” Avril told WWD recently. “I was really excited about the Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips—especially since they’re superquick. You clean your nails, peel the strips and apply them, file and go. I’m super fast at it, so it takes me like five minutes to do my nails. And it’s super cool because the designs that I came up with are my personal style and vibe—they’re rock and roll and fun and bright and colorful. You have sparkles and little stars—they are cute. For me, I’ll be flying on a plane and be like, ‘S—, I need to do my nails.’ I can do these on a plane; I’ve done them in the car.”

Avril Lavigne has sold her Bel Air mansion for $8.5 million. The 'Complicated' singer -- who bought the palatial property in 2006 with her then husband Deryck Whibley -- sold the 12,184 square-foot, eight bedroom, ten bathroom home to Los Angeles Clippers basketball star Chris Paul, according to gossip website TMZ.

The home features a two-storey foyer, dual offices, a ten-car garage, a wine cellar, large gym with bath and sauna, laundry and staff quarters and a private courtyard. The master bedroom contains a kitchenette, fireplace, patio, custom walk-in closets and dual baths. Avril, 27, and Sum 41 star Deryck, 31 split in 2010 after four years of marriage but despite their break-up, she insists the pair will always be very close.

The former couple worked with each other on Avril's most recent album 'Goodbye Lullaby' and as well as being good friends, she still has a lot of respect for his work. She said: "I have a lot of respect for him as an artist. He's one of the most talented people I know. He did an awesome job on my album.

"We're very good friends. He's family to me. We both respect and care for each other very much. We're in a great place."Avril is currently dating reality TV star Brody Jenner.

Avril Lavigne and Brody Jenner's romance may not be headed for the Hills after all. The musician, 27, and former reality star, 28, were cozy at Culina restaurant at the Four Seasons Beverly Hills over the weekend, an eyewitness tells PEOPLE.

"They had drinks on the patio and moved inside for dinner," the witness says. "They were kissing and cuddling and were very affectionate. They definitely didn't look broken-up."The couple, who never confirmed they ended their relationship, have been dating for about a year and a half.

At the time of their reported split earlier this month, a source told PEOPLE that the duo could very well get back together. "Avril has always been there for me and is the closest person to my heart," Jenner Tweeted shortly after the supposed breakup. "I love her."

The company has made a deal with rocker chick Avril Lavigne, who has designed a collection of nail polish strips for the brand, Women's Wear Daily reports. The limited edition collection is set to be in the stores in April, with each kit having 16 nail polish strips, a cuticle stick, and a nail file. As for the designs, Avril reveals that they will include skulls, leopard prints, sparkles, and stars, among other things.

The singer herself couldn't be happier with the collaboration, stating, "I'm a really visual person; I like creating, and I love to have fun with colors. I think this offers self-expression, and it's a really smart, versatile way to show your style. I think my fans will really like it, because it's easy and simple and fun."
