Avril Lavigne launch her new Album 'Goodbye Lullabye': "What The Hell" is the question posed by Avril Lavigne on her new single from the forthcoming album, "Goodbye Lullabye." This is album No. 4 and it's been four years since Avril's last release, "The Best Damn Thing," back in 2007. In that time span, little Abbey Dawn has grown up a bit. First came the split from Sum-41's Deryck Whibley, then a battle with her record label, and the on-again-off-again relationship with Brody Jenner from MTV's "The Hills." How did all these life experiences affect Avril's music? Well for one, Lavigne says "this is a very emotional record full of sadness and happiness that reflects all the growing up I did."
Even though her new single, "What The Hell," is reminiscent of Avril's older work, (call it a good way to segue into her new release), her new album is actually a departure and a little more mellow and deep. "Goodbye Lullabye" will be out March 8.
