Paradise Island, Bahamas - Avril Ramona Lavigne the 26 year old Canadian singer-songwriter performed at Atlantis over the Memorial Day weekend on May 28th.

While in The Bahamas she recorded a brief video to thank her fans as she'd reached 20 million fans on Facebook - she's already picked up another million and a half since then!
Lavigne was born in Belleville, Ontario and by the age of 15, she had appeared on stage with Shania Twain; and by 16, she had signed a two-album recording contract with Arista (now RCA Records) worth more than $2 million.
