The song is Lavigne's 3rd official single from her Goodbye Lullaby album, released in March. On twitter, Avril described the music video as "Simple but emotional. Raw and real. Stripped down."

The video features a tearful Lavigne singing alone in an empty room, eventually moving on to her doing the same in a water-filled bathtub. In the tub, Avril's fully clothed (unfortunately), so apparently that's not what she means by "stripped down." I do agree that it's a simple, yet effective video that showcases the ballad well.
