She’s been playing things pretty low-key as of late, but Avril Lavigne was spotted getting ready for a photo shoot in Los Angeles yesterday. The “Complicated” songstress looked focused as she had her hair and makeup done before taking off her white fluffy robe to reveal a sexy black ensemble for the shoot.

Ms. Lavigne is currently involved in divorce proceedings to dissolve her marriage with Deryck Whibley, and there are reports that she’s shacking up with oil heir Brandon Davis. But Davis recently denied the rumors, telling press, “Absolutely not.  She’s my friend and that’s it.  I’m in London and I’ve been here for the last two weeks. I’ve never hooked up with her.  Actually I haven’t talked to her in a month.”
