Getting used to the single life once more, Avril Lavigne was spotted out for a photo shoot in Los Angeles on Monday afternoon (November 30).

Not far removed from her split from ex-hubby Deryck Whibley, the “Sk8ter Boy” singer strutted into the studio while getting some help from her brother Matthew when her hot black zippered pants created some discomfort.

According to a source on the scene, Matthew kept a very close eye on his younger sister, making sure she didn’t reveal too much when she unzipped her pants to tuck them into her waist.  The sighting comes after rumors of a random hookup for Miss Lavigne during a recent trip to NYC, which follows reports that she was getting cozy with Wilmer Valderrama.

Of the situation, an insider told Life & Style, “They have been friends since working together on Fast Food Nation in 2005, but things heated up last month. One of their first dates was Oct. 29 at Nobu in West Hollywood.”
