If Avril Lavigne had lots of new hit songs, she’d be interviewed by People or Rolling Stone, but she just has lots of new tattoos, so she’s interviewed by Inked magazine.
Inked Magazine editor Rocky Rakovic tells PopEater that the publication is incredibly pumped to have Miss Lavigne on their cover. "Avril was the ultimate crush for guys hanging around the half-pipe in the early 2000s," Rakovic says. "And we were happy to shoot her for her June/July music issue as she transforms from skater girl to goddess -- we are even more smitten now."
Uh huh. The “sk8tr grl” thing and the punk look and the goth phase may have been personas designed to sell albums, but we’re just miserable cynics. Here’s the “controversial” portion of the article:
What's Lavigne's favorite tattoo of all? "My favorite tattoo is this one," Avril said, lifting up her shirt to expose her rib cage, which donned ink blaring the 4-letter F-bomb. "It's my favorite word!" Lavigne exclaimed during the shoot. Classy! Some day she may wish she'd tattooed it backwards, so you can see your favorite word in the mirror, but her kids can’t. If she has kids at some point, that is.
